"Leading Roles" - Fourth Years

Stephen Drye

Hi! I'm Laura Foudy. I'm now a fourth year resident at St. Joe. I'm completing a Master in Public Health through Loma Linda University, so I'm taking a little extra time so I can finish both residency and my master at the same time. I live right here in South Bend, not too far from the hospital. I love my house and the incredible perennial garden surrounding it. Jacki and Trixy have spent many hours helping me in the garden-they are great friends!
Over this past summer I had the opportunity to work in Kijabe, Kenya as a part of our International Health Track. I saw some amazing pathology, met some incredible people, and finished up with a fantastic safari! Once I finish residency, I plan to return to Kenya to work full time in

I love anything outdoors especially sports and am currently trying to learn to play the guitar. The next few years are going to be a challenge, but I am very much looking forward to overcoming it and coming out on the other side as an outstanding physician.
