On behalf of the Saint Joseph Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency and podiatric colleagues, welcome to our PMRS Cert. website. Our program was established more than 15 years ago and shares a rich tradition of highly trained foot and ankle surgeons both locally and nationally. With the recent modifications by the Council of Podiatric Medical Education in developing the PMS-36 category, our program is able to deliver a multitude of foot and ankle reconstructive surgery with a diversity of talented surgeons. Our program boasts a large outpatient clinic where residents are able to manage their patient groups, which provides consistent continuity of care.
Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center is deeply supportive of medical education programs. Our Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency integrates routinely with Allopathic, and Pharmacy Practice residency programs. Subsequently, whether inpatient or outpatient, our system is able to provide a consistent multi-disciplinary approach to patient care as well as medical education. These attributes create a training environment that is both challenging and rewarding.
Our program hosts to third and fourth year medical students 1-month clerkship rotations.
