Isabel Hagedorn, PharmD
Pharmacy Practice Resident
Hello, my name is Isabel Hagedorn. I was born and raised in a small town in the rolling hills of southern Indiana. I attended Purdue University School of Pharmacy from which I graduated this past May. After my residency, I am hoping to pursue a Masters in Public Health. Combining an MPH with my PharmD will open up many opportunities to further the field of pharmacy by working towards population-based preventative health. In my spare time I enjoy running, volleyball, hiking, biking, camping, and fishing - or anything else outdoors. Cooking is also a relaxing hobby I enjoy. I am looking forward to a fun and educational year serving our patients of the South Bend/Mishawaka region.

Katie Ringenberg,
PharmD
Pharmacy Practice Resident
Hi, I’m Katie Ringenberg from Spencerville, Indiana. I received my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University. I decided to pursue post-graduate residency training to further advance my clinical skills as well as my confidence and competence as a practitioner. I was seeking a place that could help me transition from student pharmacist into pharmacist, while pushing me to be the best I could be. Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center was the perfect fit! I enjoy playing tennis, baking cookies, traveling and soaking in new cultures, photography, and spending time with family and friends. I am looking forward to a great year with my co-residents and the wonderful staff and clinicians here at St. Joe

Sheena Sanders, PharmD
Pharmacy Practice Resident
Greetings, I am Sheena Sanders from Indianapolis, Indiana. After graduating from Butler University College of Pharmacy, I worked in a retail community setting for two years as a staff pharmacist. I later decided I wanted to pursue one of my career goals of becoming a clinical pharmacist in a collaborative ambulatory care setting. I love patient interaction and I hope to have a positive impact on patient care outcomes. Ultimately, my professional objective is to improve the health and awareness of the community through the practice of pharmacy with an emphasis on minority and underserved communities.
When I’m not working, I love spending my time with family and friends. I enjoy football greatly and I wish the season was longer. I have many other interests which include reading, music, poetry, and art to name a few

2009 Residency Program Graduate
After completing my challenging yet rewarding residency year, I will be going to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. There I will be part of the initiation of an oncology infusion center and plan to eventually specialize in oncology pharmacy. During my time at St. Joe, I was fortunate to rotate on many services, oversee resident medicine rounds, perform pharmacokinetic and nutrition pharmacy consults, actively participate in committee meetings, and develop great personal relationships. I expect that this will have more than prepared me to excel at Deaconess. I am looking forward to advancing my pharmacy practice skills in Evansville, spending more time with my family and hopefully getting a new dog!

As the second resident to complete the PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, I really enjoyed my experience at SJRMC. With a vision of pursuing a career in Pharmacy
Management I completed a residency program after
graduation here at Saint Joseph's and took a
staffing/clinical position at one of the satellite hospitals.
Recognizing a plethora of opportunities existed for me back at the med

opportunity as Director of Pharmacy in a Long Term Acute Care facility
came available and I moved into that position. I currently live in South
Bend, IN where my wife and I are expecting our first child. It is going to be
crazy!
