Edward Sheridan, PharmD, BCPS

Edward Sheridan, PharmD, BCPS, BCACP, CDM, BC-ADM, AE-C, CACP, CGP, CLS
Director/Ambulatory Care Pharmacist

Originally from Ohio, Dr. Edward Sheridan came to Indiana to study pharmacy at Butler University in Indianapolis, receiving his bachelor degree in pharmacy in 1995.  While practicing as a community pharmacist, he enrolled in Butler University’s Doctor of Pharmacy program, completing the degree in 1996.  Dr. Sheridan serves as the PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program Director. He has been adjunct faculty and clinical ambulatory care pharmacist for Saint Joseph Family Medicine Residency Program at the Saint Joseph Family Medicine Center since 1996. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of pharmacy practice at both Butler and Purdue Universities. He was awarded preceptor of the year by and serves on the Dean's Professional Council for Purdue University. He coordinated and taught the pharmacology course for 2nd year medical students at Indiana University School of Medicine for 7 years. He earned an Indiana Pharmacy Teaching Certificate from Purdue and Butler Universities.  He has been published in the Journal of Family Practice, peer reviews for the Pharmacist’s Letter, and is currently writing the practice standards for ambulatory care for an ASHP book.  He is a member of both ACCP and ASHP, participating on the Midyear Clinical Meeting Programming Committee for five years.  He serves as a practitioner surveyor of pharmacy residency programs for ASHP.

Lisa Ribble, BS, PharmD

Lisa Ribble-Fay, BS, PharmD, BCPS, CDM
Associate Director/Clinical Coordinator

Dr. Ribble has been a clinical pharmacist at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center since 1998. She actively participates in institutional committee functions such as: P&T, IRB, Critical Care Committee and The Keystone Initiative. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at both Butler and Purdue Universities and also precepts Saint Joseph Family Medicine resident physicians. She has participated in teaching pharmacology to the 2nd year Indiana University School of Medicine medical students. She earned an Indiana Pharmacy Teaching Certificate from Purdue and Butler Universities.  She is a peer reviewer for the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy.  Dr. Ribble is currently a member of St. Joseph Pharmacy Association, ASHP and ACCP.

Edward Battles

Edward Battjes, PharmD
Associate Director/Ambulatory Care Pharmacist

Dr. Edward Battjes is from neighboring town, Elkhart, IN. He is a graduate of Purdue University, earning his PharmD in 2010. He then proceeded to complete a community based ambulatory care residency, associated with Purdue University and Mathes Pharmacy with a focus on diabetes care in 2011. He has recently joined SJRMC to further establish SJRMC as a force in outpatient ambulatory care for our community. Ed is also passionate for teaching, as he takes students from local colleges of pharmacy. He is also an Assistant Affiliate Professor for Purdue University, as well as the Regional Faculty Coordinator for Purdue, improving student and preceptor relations in north central Indiana. At St. Joe, he serves as an Associate Director of the Pharmacy Residency Program.

Keith Behr, RPh

Keith Behr, RPh
Preceptor/Ambulatory Care Pharmacist

Keith Behr, R.Ph., has been the pharmacist for the Sister Maura Brannick Health Center at Chapin Street since 2002. Prior to that, he was the Director of Pharmacy for the South Haven Community Hospital in South Haven, Michigan. Keith started his pharmacy career with Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center following his 1991 graduation from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston, MA. Keith originally came to SJRMC to plan, design and implement the Surgical Pharmacy Satellite.

Danniel Cline, PharmD, RPh

Danniel Cline, PharmD, RPh
Preceptor/Pharmacy Manager

Dr. Cline is the Pharmacy Manager at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend, IN. After graduation from Butler University, he completed a pharmacy practice residency at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. He has worked at Marsh Pharmacy in Indianapolis as a pharmacy manager and is involved with community outreach programs. He became a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Memorial Hospital in South Bend and then moved on to practice as a Compounding Pharmacist at Mar-Main Pharmacy. He is an adjunct assistant professor of pharmacy practice for both Butler and Purdue University.  He teaches pharmacology to 2nd year medical students at Indiana University – South Bend Campus.

Michelle Dies, PharmD, RPh

Michelle Dies, PharmD, RPh
Preceptor/Clinical Pharmacist-Infectious Disease/Nutrition

Dr. Dies has been a pharmacist in the surgery pharmacy satellite at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center since 1995. She currently serves as the primary surgery satellite pharmacist. Dr. Dies received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Purdue University in 1999 and her BS in Pharmacy from Purdue in 1989. She earned an Indiana Pharmacy Teaching Certificate from Purdue and Butler Universities. She is the 1999 recipient of the IPA Excellence in Research Award and is currently a member of IPA.

Jason Jablonski, RPh

Jason Jablonski, RPh
Preceptor/Pharmacy Director

Jason Jablonski, R.Ph., has served as the Director of Pharmacy for Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center since 2001. He currently oversees the operations of the South Bend, Mishawaka and Plymouth pharmacies. He was the Director of Pharmacy for LaPorte Hospital prior to coming to South Bend. He received his B.S. in pharmacy from North Dakota State University. Jason is on the Trinity Health-McKesson Advisory Board, and has served on various group-purchasing committees. He is currently a member of ASHP.  He also teaches pharmacology to 2nd year medical students at Indiana University – South Bend Campus.

Jason Jablonski, RPh

Laura Gillespie, PharmD
Preceptor/Clinical Pharmacist-Infectious Disease/Nutrition

Dr. Gillespie graduated from Purdue University in 2003 with a Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree. She worked as a clinical pharmacist at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, for four years before joining the SJRMC clinical pharmacy team. She currently serves on the following hospital committees: Infection Control, P&T, Joint Antibiotic Subcommittee, and IRB. Dr. Gillespie has earned her Indiana Pharmacy Teaching Certificate from Purdue and Butler Universities, and is also an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice for Purdue and Butler.

Anthony T Patterson BS R.Ph

Anthony T Patterson BS R.Ph
Preceptor/Clinical Pharmacist-Critical Care/Cardiology

Anthony Patterson has been with Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center since 2002, as a Critical Care Decentralized Clinical Pharmacist within the ICU Satellite. He actively participates in institutional committee functions such as: Pharmacy & Therapeutic Committee, Critical Care Committee, member of Code Blue, and Keystone Initiative. He presents pharmacology lectures to 2nd year medical students at Indiana University – South Bend Campus.He earned an Indiana Pharmacy Teaching Certificate from Purdue and Butler Universities.   Dr. Patterson has published in the American Journal of Critical Care. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at both Butler and Purdue Universities and a member of MPA, ASHP, ASCP, and ACCP.

Corrine Reno, PharmD

Dr. Reno graduated for Wayne State University’s Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2009. She completed a one-year postgraduate residency program at Parkview Health System in Fort Wayne, IN in 2010. Dr. Reno joined the SJRMC clinical pharmacy team in 2010 and currently precepts pharmacy students and residents in oncology experiences. She currently serves on the following hospital committees: P&T, Oncology committee, and Pain and Palliative Care Committee. Dr. Reno is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at both Butler and Purdue Universities.

Angelina Sagarsee, PharmD, AE-C

Angelina Sagarsee, PharmD, AE-C, BCPS, CACP
Preceptor/Ambulatory Care Pharmacist

Dr. Sagarsee graduated from Purdue University School of Pharmacy followed by the Pharmacy Practice Residency Program with an emphasis in ambulatory care at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Though she most recently served as an ambulatory care pharmacist at the Family Medicine Center focusing on both pharmacy resident and family medicine resident education, currently she has assumed the larger role of full time Mother, PRN pharmacist within the residency program. She earned an Indiana Pharmacy Teaching Certificate from Purdue and Butler Universities. She is a member of ASHP and ACCP and served on the 2008-2009 ASHP New Practitioners Forum Professional Practice Advisory Group. Dr. Sagarsee currently peer reviews for Pharmacist's Letter.

Allison Tucker, PharmD

Lindsay Snyder, PharmD, BCPS
Preceptor/Ambulatory Care Pharmacist

Dr. Snyder is a clinical ambulatory care pharmacist at the Healthy Family Center in Mishawaka.  She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Toledo in 2008.  Following graduation, she completed a pharmacy practice residency with emphasis in ambulatory care at Blanchard Valley Medical Associates in Findlay, Ohio.  During residency, she also served as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Ohio Northern University. She is currently a preceptor for pharmacy students from Purdue University.

Jason Stabnik

Jason Stabnik, RPh
Preceptor/Pharmacy Manager-Informatics Coordinator

Jason Stabnik is the Pharmacy Manager and Informatics Coordinator at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center.  After Graduating from Purdue University in 2001, he began his career as a clinical pharmacist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL.  During this time, he participated in the implementation of an information technology computing platform designed for physician order entry and electronic communication.  This implementation lead to his interest in Pharmacy Informatics and, in 2007, he began a new career as the Pharmacy Informatics Coordinator.  He has since been involved in numerous projects and initiatives aimed at creating efficiencies between pharmaceutical technologies and the people who use them.  In late 2011, he accepted the position of Pharmacy Manager and, along with performing the activities of the Informatics Coordinator, continues to provide leadership and direction for the pharmacy department.
 

Dominic Vachon, PhD

Dominic Vachon, PhD
Preceptor/Director, Behavioral Medicine & Caring Science Training

Dr. Dominic Vachon graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1980 with bachelor degrees in psychology and philosophy. In 1985 he received a Master of Divinity degree from the University of Notre Dame. In 1993 he received a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago. He completed a predoctoral internship at Oaklawn Psychiatric Hospital in Goshen, Ind. and at the Notre Dame Counseling Center. He later completed a Scientist-Practitioner Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Notre Dame.
Dr. Vachon is the Director of Behavioral Medicine and Caring Science Training for the Family Medicine Residency Program. He is also an adjunct professor in the Theology Department at the University of Notre Dame and Clinical Assistant Professor for the Indiana University School of Medicine. Previously he was a staff psychologist at the University of Notre Dame Counseling Center and a Concurrent Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department for nine years and later an adjunct professor for the Psychology Department for seven years. He also specializes in Neurofeedback therapy. He has a private practice and previously worked for the Holy Cross Health System Corporate Office in the areas of organizational ethics and mission effectiveness. Dr. Vachon conducts research in the areas of empathy and burnout in the helping professions, the psychology of caring, family caregiving, and the role of spirituality in helping others. He founded the Institute for the Support and Study of the Caring Professions, a private consulting and educational organization that does workshops and consultation for healthcare and other organizations concerned about caring and stress in helping people.
