As you look through our curriculum, we are on course
with meeting the ACGME’s (Accreditation Council
for Graduate Medical Education) requirements and AOA’s
(American Osteopathic Accreditation) requirements thus
offering dual accreditation to our osteopathic residents.
Throughout your residency, your rotations and evaluations
will occur using the competencies as a guide to measure
your performance.
First Year Resident
- 3 months Medicine*
- 2 months Obstetrics*
- 2 months Pediatrics *
- 1 month Emergency Room
- 1 month Surgery
- 1 month Cardiology
- 1 month Family Medicine Center 1/Radiology
- 1 month Family Medicine Center 2/Rehab
Second Year Resident
- 3 months Medicine*
- 2 months Pediatrics*
- 2 months Obstetrics*
- 1 month Emergency Room
- 1 month Elective
- 1 month Orthopedic Surgery
- 1 month Family Medicine Center 3/Community Medicine
- 1 month Family Medicine Center 4/Business of Medicine
Third Year Resident
- 5 months Electives
- 2 months Emergency Room
- 1 month Orthopedics/sports med
- 1 month Medicine Chief*
- 1 month Gynecology
- 1 month ENT/Ophthalmology
- 1 month Urology/Dermatology
